Anyone who’s grown up in the country knows what it feels like to walk past stinging nettle, and that the plant is VERY well named. Stinging, burning, itching nettle really would be perfectly accurate, if a bit cumbersome to say. Heck, to this day my mother STILL will not go near the stuff.
However, there is a very common plant that will remove the sting from this nettle almost immediately. It’s called chickweed. This plant has many uses, and you can find out more about it in our Wild Grocer Quiz.
Anyway, I shot a short video showing how to cure a stinging nettle rash with chickweed (as a side note, chickweed helps relieve almost any sting, though it is most effective with nettle).
